Celeste Sinclair, everyone. Reaching deep for that lone molecule of empathy.

Thanks again to Otto Murga (www.instagram.com/automurga) for helping me with spanish translation!

Not much to report this week – wrapping up my last Final Space episode, and waiting on word from a couple of studios about possible gigs. Fifteen years working in animation and I still haven’t gotten used to the semi-annual job hustle…and it’s especially weird searching for directing work, as the jobs are fewer and you’re relying a lot more on other people (agents, recruiters) to do the searching for you. Happy to be here in the ring, but it’s a very strange feeling.

I never got the impression Celeste LACKED the ability to empathize, merely that she was too sheltered to understand the problems facing the lower classes.

I think that’s probably also true – for most of Celeste’s life none of these problems have affected her, so she hasn’t really registered they exist.
